1. Data contributions

1.1 What can be submitted?

<aside> <img src="/icons/table_blue.svg" alt="/icons/table_blue.svg" width="40px" /> Only new data can be submitted. The data is considered new if it hasn’t already been recorded in the database. If a user wishes to modify already existing data, please send an enquiry to [email protected]. The data must be sourced from peer-reviewed scientific publications. Unpublished data will not be validated by admin profiles.

1.2 How to submit?

<aside> <img src="/icons/forward_blue.svg" alt="/icons/forward_blue.svg" width="40px" /> To submit new data, a user must be on the data tab and click on submit new data. The user will be redirected to a form that must be entirely filled in for the data to be successfully submitted.

<aside> <img src="/icons/forward_blue.svg" alt="/icons/forward_blue.svg" width="40px" /> When a user submits new data from a publication, they are highly encouraged to submit data for all the biosignatures reported in that same publication.

<aside> <img src="/icons/forward_blue.svg" alt="/icons/forward_blue.svg" width="40px" /> When filling in the form, users should make sure to comply with the data standards. A user may request edits or additions to the data standards by sending an enquiry to [email protected]. Data standards are reviewed every month.

2. App contributions

2.1 What?

2.2 How?

Contributors are highly encouraged to include tests in their pull request with a minimum test coverage of 75%.
